When Sydney and Jenny first came to me with an idea for their wedding at their own home, I was so excited because these small, intimate weddings are some of my favorite to plan. They both had such great ideas for what they were looking for in their wedding, but most of all, that it felt so special and unique to them!
They decided to have just their closest family and friends present for their day and to have both their ceremony and cocktail hour at their home and then travel down the road a bit for dinner at their favorite date night restaurant, Wildflower.
Their ceremony was officiated by a close friend of theirs and both Sydney and Jenny decided to walk down the aisle together, which was honestly such a sweet moment to witness, especially as Sydney’s mom played guitar as they walked down together. Their ceremony was full of loving words for and about the couple.
Following the ceremony, there were specialty cocktails and drinks for all of the guests along with so many yummy snacks for people to choose from. They did their toasts and special dances at the house before we moved over to the restaurant for dinner in the Brewhop Trolley.
And what a dinner it was! A beautiful 5-course meal at Wildflower Restaurant was one of the best meals I know I have ever had! They did their special “pie cutting” there and capped off the evening with drinks back at their home with their friends. This was such a special day to get to be apart of and I am so excited to see what the future holds for this amazing and loving couple!!
